Burt’s Bees is the OG of purpose-driven brands. They came to SMAKK looking to reintroduce the brand to a younger, Next Gen consumer by reimagining their website to allow for meaningful storytelling and an engaging digital experience.
There was a big opportunity to use the website as a powerful platform that speaks to the heritage, values and mission of the brand. We knew we needed to create space for this storytelling, while allowing for a best-in-class experience that would engage with a younger audience through design, content and functionality. We also wanted to allow for deeper insights into the purchase behaviors of the Next Gen consumer and create personalized experiences that better met their needs while supporting omni channel learning and larger brand strategy.
SMAKK led strategy, design, and copy for the website and emails, as well as on-going updates to the user-experience based on testing and learnings.
