When it comes to teeth grinding, Otis Dental was looking to start a new conversation and approached SMAKK to stress the significance of our overall well being in better oral care.
With over a decade’s experience in the dental field, Otis Dental created a custom night guard to effectively and affordably prevent and correct the oral damage caused by teeth grinding. We saw an opportunity to design and position a product that will stand out in an often sterile and unapproachable space by leading a holistic conversation and shining a light on the connections between stress and bruxism, and our mental and physical health.
We worked with Otis Dental on brand strategy, visual identity and messaging, website and packaging designs that would position them as a leader and educator in the space, while dissolving the stigma that comes with mental health topics—starting with its tie to bruxism.
