ABOUT THE ROLE
SMAKK Studios is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Web Intern to join our team! The right person for this position is eager to learn and follows through with executions. You’ll work closely with the SMAKK team on ecommerce projects bringing consumer brands to life through disruptive digital experiences. You’re interested in understanding how business, design, and technology come together to create great user experiences, both internally and externally.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide administrative support for the web team
Create and maintain content and copy documents
Develop alt text for site images
Upload content and assets to website platforms such as Shopify, Squarespace, Wordpress, etc., including SEO content and alt text
Assist with managing internal website QA and client website feedback
Assist with website QA, including copy, content, and imagery updates
Assist with flow set-up and building templates for emails, including testing
WHO YOU ARE
Experience working with Shopify
Superb attention to detail
Multitasking on a variety of projects simultaneously
Strategic and tactical thinking as it applies to your projects and work
You’re eager to learn more about web and ecommerce experiences and want to partner with UX and web designers to bring brands to life online
Aptitude to learn more and grow not just yourself but your team
Work effectively in a team environment including close interaction with clients
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

*The compensation for this position is $20/hour.
